Background
Where I have worked and what it taught me.
Before private practice I worked within NHS Talking Therapies, supporting adults through everything from anxiety and depression to complex difficulties including suicidal thoughts and risk. That work gave me extensive experience in safeguarding and the careful assessment of risk and it shaped a conviction that safety and warmth are not opposites.
Alongside adults I have worked with children and young people in schools through Place2Be, the children's mental health charity and with bereaved people through Bereft, the bereavement support service for the borough of Ealing. Adolescence is a complex time of change and my aim with young people is always the same: a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood and able to express themselves openly.
I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent and I offer sessions in English, Hindi and Punjabi. As a member of BAATN, the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network, I am part of the UK's largest independent organisation specialising in psychological work with people who identify as Black, African, Asian and Caribbean.1 For some clients the chance to work with a therapist who shares a cultural frame or simply does not need it explained, matters a great deal.

What I believe
Trust, confidentiality and respect, in that order.
Inner Compass is a practice built on a simple idea: that you can find your own direction when someone listens fully, without judgement, interruption or pressure. I do not fit people to a method. My integrative approach draws on psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT-informed ways of working, with somatic awareness running through all of them, so the therapy is shaped around what you bring rather than a fixed way of working.
Sessions happen online, messaging or by phone, face to face or outdoors as walk and talk therapy in Kew. Whichever you choose, the aim is a grounded and consistent space in which you can begin to find clarity, direction and emotional support that actually fits you.
A note on testimonials
You will not find client reviews on this site. Client testimonials sit uneasily with the ethics of a confidential relationship, so instead I have tried to be transparent about my training, my registration and exactly how I work. If you would like to know whether we would be a good fit, the free introductory call is the honest way to find out.
Ready when you are.
A free introductory call, no forms and no obligation. Just a quiet conversation to see whether working together feels right.
